Timothy Karanja is the Head of Civil & Structural Engineering, GIS & Survey at Synergetic. With over 15 years’ experience, Karanja has vast experience in multiple sectors including Oil & Gas, infrastructural development, Agro-industrial, Petro-chemical and Transport & Logistics. He has been involved in the sizing, Geotech studies and design of major roads (i.e D469/D467, C32 and C46) and various dam projects.
Engineer Karanja graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has worked on projects with notable clients such as Eco Bank Valley Arcade, Brookside Dairy Ltd, Commercial Bank of Africa, Egerton University, Ngorongoro Treatment Plant and Fourways Junction, Nairobi.
He is well conversant with conditions of contracts for works of Civil Engineering construction and has been involved in multiple projects e.g. East Africa oil depot construction in industrial area, East African oil depot construction in Mombasa, Oil depot construction for Gas Petro Limited in Mombasa, Oil depot construction for Africa Gas and Oil in Mombasa, and the Oil depot construction for Petroda in Mozambique.
As the head of civil engineering, Engineer Karanja coordinates and approves key aspects of all projects undertaken.
